4/1/10, Sam Hall joins the Prime To Go Team as Final Cut Editor/Action Sports Archivist/Apple Specialist
Prime To Go is proud to announce that Sam Hall has joined the Prime To Go Team as a Final Cut Editor/Action Sports Media Archivist and Apple Technical Support Specialist. With a strong background in film production and post, Sam’s recent work includes the full production and post on a series of five minute documentary/promos for the Prodigies clothing line which he shot on his Canon XM2 PAL w/Schneider Optics Anamorphic lens (watch it here), and shooting the independent short, “Mother Superior” on a Canon XHA1, a film which he also edited, scored, and completed all Color Correction/Visual Effects (Watch it here). Despite his large library of short films, Prime To Go’s in-house computer geeks love Sam most for his “Light Saber Test Film”. For two days, Sam animated this Star Wars fight scene frame by frame, and added an unparalleled level of sound design to make this one of the best on the net.
But Sam’s knowledge is not just limited to film and visual effects. For the past three years, Sam has worked as an Apple Technical Support Representative for Springboard Media, the Largest Apple Reseller in Philadelphia, and has expertise in most apple products. But it’s his skills as a Final Cut editor that brought him to us. In fact, he knows Final Cut so well that Apple Computers put his birthday on the Final Cut Pro Splash Screen 4/24/84 (Of course, they had to put 4:24:48 because there is no :84 timecode). Happy Birthday Sam and welcome to the Prime To Go team.
