Element: Cost-Effective Editing
If
you need to edit a corporate video or simply create an
EDL, Avid Xpress Pro with Mojo has the the tools you'll
need at a fraction of the cost of an Avid Media Composer
or Adrenaline.
Advantages: This is a very inexpensive system with
high-end features.
Disadvantages: Although it does offer finishing
resolutions, Avid Xpress Pro has limited video and audio
signal formats and does not currently offer SDI video,
AES/EBU or XLR audio. Also, the user interface is not
as robust as Avid Media Composer.
Our Avid Xpress Pro's with Mojo have been used for the
offline editing of a variety of independent films and
reality series including "Money Makers" and
"Total Garage Makeover." In addition, QVC netowrks
chose Prime to Go to provide a number of PAL Avid Xpress
Pro systems for their recent production in Italy.
