Avid DS Nitris the only limit is your imagination. Designed
for advanced editors and artists who want the ultimate
in quality, performance and flexibility, it offers SD
and 10-bit HD as well as effects tree compositing.
Advantages: Unmatched effects capabilities compared
to any other Avid or non-Avid product. This system is
capable of both SD and HD finishing.
Disadvantages: This system is very expensive. In the
future, those clients who do not need the effects capabilities
of Avid Nitris, but only need HD finishing will be able
to use the Avid Adrenaline HD.
Most recently, we have provided an Avid DS Nitris to cut
bumps and promos for the 2004 NBA All Star Game.
