multiple processor-based streams of realtime video. This
product will continue to become faster and faster with
each CPU upgrade.
Advantages: This system provides multiple streams
of realtime video and the host computers are extremely
fast at rendering third party effects. It offers much
better audio/video signals than Avid Xpress Pro.
Disadvantages: Many editors feel that the Avid user
interface reacts a little slower than Avid Media Composer.
This is a fairly new product with more possible software
bugs than Avid Media Composer.
Our Avid Adrenaline systems have been utilized for the
Miss America Pageant, the Mary Quits anti-smoking
internet campaign and the "VANS Triplecrown of Snowboarding"
for NBC.
